Hello,

I am Ingrid van der Krogt, a self-taught artist. I make illustrations and digital paintings (dreamscapes)

 

In 2012 I started editing my own photos that I really liked to do. From this arose my own digital expressions.

I also make a lot of sketches that I process into digital illustrations. From my work I make prints, greeting cards and GIF animations.
 

In what I create I am playful, inquisitive and always looking for new ideas to express myself.

My work  is colorful and joyful, Nature and everything that grows and flourishes inspires me daily.

I have a special love for colors which for me carry energetic (healing)  power and have specific  meanings.

Spiritual transformation- and awareness processes also has my great interest which I process in my dreamscapes.

 

My background:

In de 90s I studied  Art, Culture and Education. After my graduation, I lived for two years in South Africa.

When I got back I did a 4 years naturopathic energetic therapy study. After that I had my own practice.

When I stopped practicing (2012) I decided to fully focus in developing my artistic skills.

I live with my partner Bernard in a little village (Doorn) that is surrounded by forests, meadows and farms.
